experience the course before the race!!
On Saturday, November 4th, we will be hosting a group training run on the final 31 miles of the DAYTONA 100 and DAYTONA 50 courses. This 50k run is an ideal opportunity to familiarize yourselves with the course, in a fun, low-stress, non-competitive group environment with many other runners either already signed up for the big race or planning to sign up.
The training run will be fully-supported with aid stations every 4-5 miles, offering typical ultra fare (water, Gatorade, gels, electrolyte tabs, Coke, etc.). All you have to do is bring your running shoes and a positive attitude!!
Details: The run will start at Aid Station 7 of the course (Gamble Rogers State Park), at 8:00 am, on November 4, 2017. At 7:00 am, runners will meet at Winterhaven Park in Ponce Inlet (two blocks south of the finish line), to drop off their cars, and we will shuttle you to the start line. The address for Winterhaven Park is 4589 S. Atlantic Ave, Ponce Inlet, FL 32127.
Sign Up: In order for us to get an accurate head-count (and provide the right amount of aid station supplies), please sign up using the below button. We are asking for a small ($15) donation to offset the costs (aid station food/drink/S-Caps/etc) of the training run:
